When I was expecting my first child, I was a yoga teacher with ZERO experience let alone expertise in Prenatal Yoga. But of course - once pregnant, I got curious and started doing my homework. This is what I learned:


First, I figured out that regular yoga classes will be off limits for a while. They are just too risky. Too dangerous for my baby.


Because here's the problem: When you're pregnant, your practice absolutely needs to change. But neither you nor most yoga teachers really understand what exactly needs to change. Which pose becomes dangerous? For who? In which trimester? Why? And what do we do instead?


One wrong move can literally be the end of it all. Why risk that?!
