Multiple styles
Do they teach classes in more than one style of yoga?
Yoga beyond stretching
Do they offer meditation, breathwork, chanting mantra or other yogic practices?
Effective cues
Do they give clear instructions that you can follow easily? And do their cues help you deepen your practice and get into new poses over time?
Helpful advice
Do they offer specific advice in response to specific questions?
Pose modifications
Do they cue multiple ways to perform poses going from easier to more advanced?
